The Indie Rock band from Ireland, The Academic, met each other when they were still wet behind the ears (whatever that means). Despite being still rather young, they managed to get gigs in which they were supporting some of the bigger Indie acts like the Kooks. Now, they’re playing their own show with their own support, Austrian Singer-Songwriter Mark Campbell. If you want to see them perform live, be at Chelsea this Monday. Here’s what they sound like:
