The US music group, The Grandmothers, was formed in 1980 and is, with three original band members, the only legitimate successor of Frank Zappa’s band, The Mothers of Invention. The Grandmothers play original Jazz to Rock music from Zappa, but also throw in a few classical compositions. This Monday, you can catch them live at Porgy & Bess.
