Transition Queerfilmnacht: Bonnie & Bonnie

Enjoy an evening of runaway love and movies

Transition Queerfilmnacht: Bonnie & Bonnie

When: MON, October 14, 8pm–9:30pm Where: VOTIVKINO / DE FRANCE Entry: 9€ The Votivkino is opening up once again for the ‘Transition Queerfilmnacht’ this Monday. And this week’s movie is all about that girl loves girl moment. ‘Bonnie & Bonnie’ is about Yara, a 17-year-old girl, who has found love in another girl named Kiki. The only problem: Yara isn’t able to live out her love-life as much as she’d like to, since her conservative father would never accept her relationship, so Yara does the only thing that seems right to her and escapes the city of Hamburg-Wilhelmsburg and makes her way down to the south of France to live out the love and life that she’s always wanted. This is the classic ‘Bonnie and Clyde’ just with a little bit of a gay twist. So if you want to see this movie, (which you should) go and get your tickets! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SUVwBQbyX6E Recommended if you like: queer representation in film, gay movies, finding love, love is love, seeing other lesbians cry in the theater, having too much popcorn and coke, experiencing love at first sight, enjoying a movie, heartwarming stories [totop] [tocat]]]>
