With his installations Ugo Rondinone creates atmospheres that capture our modern attitude towards life. Oftentimes you can find references to pop culture and art history in them as well. For his very first solo show in an Austrian museum he brought two different kinds of artworks – the landscapes, sculptures made from soil which he specifically designed for Vienna and the nudes, hyperrealistic human wax figures. You can check it all out at Belvedere 21 until May 2022.
