VLMV, pronounced “Alma” (obvs) are a UK-based duo consisting of Pete Lambrou and Ciaran Morahan, both members of instrumental Post-Rock band, Codes In The Clouds. Using falsetto vocals, guitars with delay pedals and looping synths, they create the kind of dreamy music to accompany lying on the grass staring at the stars having smoked a bit of the ol’ wacky tobacky. Or something like that. Here, they’ll be presenting their latest concept album, “Stranded, Not Lost,” released on Fierce Panda Records. If you’re a fan of Keaton Henson, Sigur Rós, or Explosions in the Sky, this is probably up your Strasse.
Recommended if you like: chilling the ‘eff out, dedicating your life to music, seriously talented musicians performing live, curing your weekend hangover with a beer and live music, men who sing with high vocals, staring at the clouds.
