The new exhibition at WestLicht is marking the 200th anniversary of Beethoven’s 9th Symphony with works by Japanese photographer Mariko Tagashira and performances by the inclusive White Hands Chorus Nippon. It’s all about celebrating unity and breaking barriers, featuring kids, with and without disabilities, singing together, some using sign language, alongside long exposure photography that turns their gestures into poetic light trails.
