Since its release last year, ‘OUTDEH – The Youth of Jamaica’ has won multiple awards, including Best Music Documentary at Byron Bay International Film Festival. It follows the journeys of three young men from Jamaica, including rapper Bakersteez, pro surfer Shama, and Romar, who lives in the Tivoli Garden ghetto and shows us some of the hard realities of life in his community. There’s an excellent soundtrack of classic Jamaican music, original songs, and Bakersteez’s Trap, and the screening will have the crew in attendance along with a Q&A and ‘making of’ afterwards.
