We especially love it when the pink blossoms add life to the grey street city scenery after winter like they do at Ilgplatz. They make every Grätzel look nicer.

1030, Hainburger Weg — most instagrammable cherry—blossom spots

Hainburger Weg has turned into an Instagram hotspot in the last few years, and we can see why. This little cherry tree alley is just on fleek.

1220, Donaupark — most instagrammable cherry—blossom spots

If you look closely enough, you will also find some cherry blossom trees in the vast Donaupark close to the Donauturm. There you will also be able to take pics in peace without being disturbed by crazy cherry blossom fanatics.

1090, Votivkirche — most instagrammable cherry—blossom spots

The most classic and busiest spot downtown, so make sure to secure yourself a good spot. Also keep an eye out for Vienna’s most famous magnolia tree, perfect for framing together with the impressive church spires.

If you want to switch your cherry blossom content up a little bit and combine your snapshot with street art in the back, then swoosh! Head over to the 6th district.

An evergreen among the spots and usually pretty packed with locals just hanging around, but the beautiful Franz-von-Assisi church as a backdrop to the cherry trees is a gorgeous sight to see, we have to admit.

1210, Kirschenhain Donauinsel — most instagrammable cherry—blossom spots

To celebrate the 1000-year anniversary of Austria in 2002, Japan gifted the city of Vienna with 1000 gorgeous cherry trees, and you find 150 of them at Kirschenhain at Donauinsel (close to Jedlersee Brücke). The perfect destination for a first spring bike tour!

Yes, it sounds too good to be true. But Vienna does have a beautiful Japanese garden in the 19th district. And yes, people go crazy during cherry blossom season, and the park is overcrowded to the max. Pro-tip: Go there early in the morning.

The Vienna Peace Pagoda located on the banks of the Danube is the perfect place to escape the busy city bustle for a bit and recharge your batteries. Plus, there are cherry blossom trees as well!

This park within a housing complex in the 22nd district is called ‘Kirschblütenpark’, so we don’t have to elaborate any further as to why it made the list. Also, this place is not all over Instagram (yet), so a good idea for fresh content.
