Caffè Latte – Lunch Spots

Perfect lunch spot for: when you need an escape from the day and feel like a sit down meal for a reasonable price.

This is for those that think of lunch as more of a meal than a sandwich. You’re guaranteed to be served a quality Mediterranean dish at any time of cay at Café Latte, but lunchtime here boasts two strong drawcards: its atmospheric hidden outside garden, stretching under an arched tunnel into a small courtyard with a Tuscan feel, and secondly, its 7€ lunch buffet, served from 11:30am–2pm. While the dishes included in the buffet vary from day to day, it typically includes a selection of beautifully marinated grilled meats and fish, vegetables and salad. This will either make you want to curl up in a ball and sleep afterwards, or will give you enough protein to take on the rest of the afternoon like Popeye after a can of spinach.

Also on the menu… is one of the biggest burgers in town, The Gambler (containing a 1kg meat patty inside), the more modest Café Latte burger or a range of different Pizzettes (small pizzas).

You should also try… one of the refreshing smoothies. We had the kiwi, banana and celery mix – healthy and yummy in one glass.
