Living Room Whisky Lounge at Park Hyatt – Whisky Lounge

This is the fanciest joint on this list. While the ‘living room’ is indeed set up in a charming and cosy atmosphere, it’s unlikely that many of us have a living room that looks anything as fancy as this. The warm wooden oak colours and Persian carpets make it feel like you’re somebody important about to make a deal of a lifetime. As it’s part of the Park Hyatt hotel, you’ll find vacationers here, so you can pretend to be a rich spy from Azerbaijan traveling through Vienna for an assignment you absolutely can not talk about (yes, we’ve gone to great lengths to pick up in the past). While the living room is probably the most elegant whisky bar in the city, it is also a place where you can come in the afternoons and enjoy some time on your laptop while you casually start to feel your head spin (or maybe that was the lunchtime whisky).

Good to know: if you really want to treat yourself, you can head downstairs to the spa after your whiskey.
