Located on Riemergasse opposite to the beloved Jazz club, Porgy and Bess, you’ll find Philigrano – a Mediterranean restaurant that cooks with lots of love and passion.
Experienced chef, Philip Meindl is responsible for a lot of their delicious homemade dishes, like their pasta, risotto, home-made baked bread and their edible snails (yes, we also eat snails in Vienna).
Meanwhile, you can expect not only a culinary experience that is innovative (think veal slices in a gorgeous tuna sauce and topped with some crispy fried caper flowers to give texture and that extra crunch with every bite) but is also served up in generous and hearty serves.
When here, do yourself a favour and order their Bellini Prosecco – a special homemade peach mousse topped with a dash of lime and topped with chilled Prosecco. Yum-o!
