So, not so long ago, Vienna’s cinemas were forced shut due to…well, you know. This has made us appreciate them even more! Have you ever noticed how incredibly beautiful some of Vienna’s old cinemas are?

Hanging out in their old-school foyers is like hanging out in some old black and white film. Some of these places have kept their original interiors dating back to the 20s! That’s 100 years ago!

We snuck into some of them before they were open (well ok, somebody let us in) and captured their old school charm in photos:
