The best outdoor location where to watch the EUROS in Vienna this summer

Chelsea

Where: Lerchenfeldergürtel, U-Bahnbögen 29-32, 1080 Wien

Opening Hours: Daily 6pm – 10pm

Website: www.chelsea.co.at

What’s good here: their outdoor seating area has a somehow pleasant gritty urban feeling – perfect setting in which to yell at a screen and throw back a couple of beers

The pub, Chelsea, will screen the games on 4 Flatscreen-TVs in their decently-big Schanigarten, along with 4 big screens under the U-Bahnbögen. (gotta use every available space, right?)

WUK

Where: Währinger Straße 59, 1090 Wien

Opening Hours: Daily 3pm – 10pm

Website: www.wuk.at

What’s good here: The Statt-Beisl Burger / Orient meets Okzident Burger and the craft beers they’ve got on offer

The WUK will screen the games on multiple TVs in their big Gastgarten. They’ve got a mega sound system, so you can hear every single breath from the players.

Prater neben dem Feuerdorf

Where: Prater 97, 1020 Wien

Opening Hours: One hour before the matches start

Website: www.fussball-em-prater.at

What’s good here: try out tasty treats from the various food trucks that are on offer

3.300 m2 will be dedicated to a public viewing area for the tournament, and they’ve got one of those super modern LED Video walls that are 15 m2 big set up. If you’re more into watching your football like a BOSS!, there will also be a VIP Lounge.

Der Garten am Prater

Where: Spenadlwiese, 1020 Wien

Opening Hours: One hour before the matches start

Website: www.der-garten.at

What’s good here:

Der Garten will be offering up lots of space for you to plant your butt, and they’ll have 4 flat screens and a 25 m2 LED Wall (yes, that is bigger than some flats here in Vienna) so you can be sure you won’t miss anything here.

© Die Schankwirtschaft

Schankwirtschaft im Augarten

Where: Obere Augartenstraße 1 A, 1020 Wien

Opening Hours: Daily 10am-11pm

Website: www.schankwirtschaft.at

What’s good here: Try one of their homemade lemonades, or their classic Wiener Schnitzel

Die Schankwirtschaft im Augarten will screen the games in their big and chilled Gastgarten on a 85 inch TV they’ve organised just for the tournament.

© Salettl

Salettl (Altes AKH)

Where: Campus der Universität Wien – Hof 1, Alser Strasse 4, 1090 Wien

Opening Hours: Daily 10pm-12am

Website: www.salettl.at

What’s good here: Indulge yourself by ordering a serve of their ‘Curry Wurst’ or their ‘El Diablo’ Burger

The Salettl will be screening the games as per usual, but there’s a twist! – they’ve built a beach area with sand and stuff from which you can enjoy the games and the summer feels, even more!

© Andi kickt!

Andi kickt! at Seestadt

Where: Wangari-Maathai-Platz 3, Eben 9, 1220 Wien

Opening Hours: Daily 5pm-12am

Website: www.andikickt.at

What’s good here: Well, their menu is pretty standard, but the outdoor seating is great and has a view.

The sports area, andikickt, will be transformed into a TV-viewing area throughout the tournament.
