Increase your tolerance for wasabi at this quirky Sushi Festival

Food enthusiasts have a lot to discover at this raw fish focused festival. We tend to think the word of the weekend will be “experimental” since the organizers plan to showcase this Japanese delicacy in unexpected forms – as burritos, as donuts or muffins – just to name a few! While we are not sure how we feel about that, and we are firm believers that  less is more, especially when it comes to minimalistic dishes such as the sushi, we are not saying Vienna’s Sushi Festival is not worth a visit. We expect to be at least surprised, if not amazed by the sushi creations on offer. Oh yeah, and, as every true, hardcore sushi festival, they will have a kids area with face-painting and balloon animals (not: high levels of sarcasm present).
