The Surf Film Nacht Wien season continues, hosting a screening of ‘SHAKA – Born in the mountains, raised by waves’. This is the incredible story of French snowboard world champion Mathieu Crepel who dreams of surfing the legendary waves of Jaws Beach, Hawaii. To achieve this, he moves to Oahu’s famous North Shore and trains like a maniac, diving, swimming with sharks, and gaining respect from the surfing crew there. This should include some incredibly gnarly scenes. Note: the film will be screened in its original language of English.
