An exhibition of work of over 40 years. He is exhibiting everything from sketches on slips of paper, envelopes, flyers, or corrugated cardboard and also real paintings.
This exhibition is directly influenced by (rock) music and pop culture and convey the artist’s sociopolitical concerns by deftly negotiating social values, norms, and ideals. The breadth of an emotional spectrum, from vulnerability to existential depth to rebellion and unruliness, demonstrates Nara’s mastery of drawing.
