10 drop dead gorgeous pictures of the life spotted amongst the dead in Vienna’s Zentralfriendhof

As the site of thousands of people hanging out underground for eternity – well, until their rent runs out and they dig them up – Vienna’s Zentralfriedhof (translation: Central cemetery) is also a beautiful and scenic spot to take an autumn stroll. There’s something very peaceful about walking along the paths lined with tombstones, and even ducking into the overgrown trails on occasion. Plus, you’ll often spot a bunch of wildlife (ok, we’re overstating it – we’re talking deer, rabbits and squirrels) that call the cemetery home.

These pictures of the Zentralfriedhof will probably bring you calm and inspire a desire to hang out in this vast cemetery.
