The song, ‘Ich lieb dich wie(n),’ is what happened when a bunch of internationals and locals at Vienna Würstelstand wanted to prove to the people of the city how much they loved Wien. What better way to do this than writing and producing a classic Schlager love song that people can dance around to. That’s right, this crowd of people from all over the world, with no musical experience whatsoever, took the beloved Austrian genre of Schlager and created a song for the people of Vienna.
The hope is that once the people of Vienna saw this passion and love Vienna Würstelstand has for Wien, they would back their crowdfunding campaign to help them launch a fresh and fun video channel called vienna senf that would dedicate itself to telling the city’s stories and helping its inhabitants make the most out of Vienna…and life.
