A bingo night – not just for old grannies!

Music Bingo Night

When: every Tuesday until September 29, 8:30pm–11pm
Where: Cafe Lassa
Entry: 1€ per card

Everyone’s familiar with the rules of bingo, so we don’t have to explain them here, right? But at this special Music Bingo Night at the funky craft beer bar, Cafe Lassa, the rules are a bit different: you’ll have to listen to 30 seconds of a song and cross out the appropriate artist/musician on your card. Don’t forget to yell ‘bingo’, when you’ve crossed out all the names in a row! There will also be prizes. It’s a BINGO!

A throwback party with a touch of today’s music

Holiday Club – Todays Hits vs. 90s

When: every Wednesday, 9pm-4am
Where: Cabaret Fledermaus

Every Wednesday, the legendary club, Cabaret Fledermaus, will put on a mix of 90s music and chart music of today to keep you dancing all night long! Expect a lot of dancing if you show up at this fun free party on a week night! We suggest bringing a bunch of friends along, as it’s a proven fact that dancing to this kind of music is always better with friends. Especially when drinks are involved.

Recommended if you like: music that you can’t resist dancing to, living in the past, dancing until sweat is dripping down your back, unpretentious locations, the 90s, mid-week drinking, listening to the radio

Partying on the weekend is so boring and soooo 2012. Midweek drinking is THE thing to do now, apparently. At least that’s what we tell ourselves when we head to a VIE i PEE ‘Mixwoch’ party on Wednesday. Drink all night long (in moderate doses, of course) and enjoy the banging (are we using this word correctly?) Hip Hop music they’ll be pumping out of their speakers.

Swing ‘n’ Roll Feat DJ King D

Put on your vintage dancing shoes for this weekly Swing ’n’ Roll dance party at the 25Hours Hotel rooftop bar with DJ King D. Make sure to stretch before leaving the house, because throwing your back out doing the jive in public is just embarrassing (trust us). When you’re ready for a breather, grab a cocktail at the bar and bee bop your way out to the terrace to enjoy a beautiful night view of Vienna with all the other rooftop bar in-crowders.

It’s party time on Thursday because it’ll be Thirsty Thursday (that’s a thing, apparently), which is practically Friday. Every Thursday, the Dachboden bar on top of the 25hours hotel, hosts a special afterwork party event at which it showcases various booze brands. Otherwise, this is pretty much a normal night at this funky little rooftop bar. Be sure to check out their event page to see which booze brand will be showcased.

Recommended if you like: parties with a view, bringing your golf clubs and hitting golf balls off of a roof when nobody’s looking, drinks with a view, being a booze connoisseur, playing table tennis

A party where Elvis meets the Beatles

Rock & Roll, Surf Rock, Swing and 50s music is your thing? This might be the perfect party night for you. Every Thursday, the Cabaret Fledermaus will be throwing the biggest Rock’n’Roll party in Vienna (so they say). Expect a lot of dancing if you actually do show up to this awesome free event!

Recommended if you like: being slid under your dancing partners legs, music that you can’t resist dancing to, living in the past, Big Band music, a haircut with slicked back sides aka. quiff, falling in love, reading the romantics

Get ready for some voguing at Volksgarten on a Thursday night

Volksgarten has also brought back their event series, Vogalicious. Every Thursday evening, they’re inviting you, me and everyone else to have a great night at their prime party location. Good music and plenty to drink – that’s what they’re promising. Meet us there and show us your best vogue moves.

With a super-dooper mix of music across the three dance floors of Volksgarten every Friday, there will surely be something to get everyone dancing. There will be House, RnB and 90s classics filling the club. It’s bound to be a laugh….the dance moves, we mean.

Join the carnage of this crazy party, as ROXY promises a serious amount of top quality Hip Hop every Friday. We would say be careful, or be on your best behaviour, but we know it’s probably going to be chaos, so you don’t really have to heed those calls for calm. Go nuts!

You will be able to see the club crew rolling out their 90s disco night again. So get ready to go full Bloodhoundgang, Backstreet Boys and Falco – we are talking tops off and swimming on the floor kind of style.

When a decade brings us Britney Spears, Hanson, AND Destiny’s Child, we have to give props where props are due. Vienna’s first 90ies Club is being hosted at The Loft and will be bringin’ on the 90’s hits every 2nd and 4th Saturday! Put on your chunky boots and grunge jeans – it’s time to party like it’s 1999!

2000s Club at The Loft

When: every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month, 9:50pm–6am
Where: The Loft
Entry: 1€ before 10pm, 5€ before 11:30pm, 8€ thereafter.

Bringing you all the classic hits every Saturday is the party crew at The Loft. An alternating DJ set will be an all encompassing journey taking you from 50 Cent to the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, meaning there is one thing you need to make sure of… that you are ‘in da club’.

Cabaret Fledermaus is calling all 60s lovers to come out for a dance to some old classics. The Beatles, The Who, The Doors and more will be rocking your boat on the dance floor. This party will be happening every Sunday so you’ve got no excuses but to get groovy there at least once.

Dance to some Indie Pop

When: two Sundays per month, 7pm–12am

This event is all about embracing the end of the weekend. Rather than sitting on your couch weeping (we’ve never done this…), get out of the house and dance your end-of-the-weekend-blues away! They’ll be playing some good old Indie Pop to keep your spirits lifted.

Recommended if you like: wearing asics tigers, making farting sounds with your armpit, the rough and ready type, tattoos, Indie Pop, Arctic Monkeys and more of this Indie delight
